CANON 5D mkll 2.0.3. firmware 已正式開放下載/史上最強單眼錄影機終於誕生!

最新3/18 UPDATE：

請使用2.0.3韌體的朋友們！
需要用到手動控制音量時，務必將檔位切換至P、A、S、M檔位，請勿使用C1、C2、C3！
否則手動音量控制會無法錄製聲音！！

個人猜測，是偵測聲音控制上面出了問題！
5D2 有內建麥克風，也有3.5MM INPUT。
但是沒有做軟體開關，只有靠是否有插入3.5MM來判斷是外接還是內建！！
測試過，若是將H4N連接到5D2，並將H4N收音關閉，插入5D2時，在切入音量控制介面時，會有一瞬間是使用『內建麥克風』收音，隔了大約0.5秒之後才會偵測到INPUT介面有使用，才會關閉內建麥克風並使用3.5ＭＭ INOUT！！！！

切換至C1、C2、C3檔位時，也許是所有設定都會根據自訂來改變，由於這方面有時間差，因此會產生問題！！

個人大膽猜測，5D2 再來的韌體會做出可控制內建或是外接的選項！！！

若不是，或許CANON會選擇放棄這方面的改進！！！！

目前手頭上有韌體的，大家還是好好珍藏吧！！！

Recently we have discovered a malfunction that occurs with Firmware Version 2.0.3, in which the manual recording levels for C1/C2/C3 are changed and the camera becomes unable to record audio if the power is turned off (or if Auto power off takes effect) after registering "Sound Recording: Manual" in the camera user settings.
We apologize very sincerely for the inconvenience, but we are going to stop making this firmware available for download. For customers who have already updated to the new firmware, when using the camera with the mode dial set to C1/C2/C3, please either set the sound recording settings to Auto.
We are currently preparing firmware that will correct this malfunction. As soon as those preparations have been completed, we will let you know on this Web site. In the meantime, we apologize for the inconvenience this represents, but please wait until the fixed firmware is ready.

CANON EOS 5D mkll

目前市面上超強的全幅機種。

身負著前代5D的高畫質宿命，也背負著在1DS MK4 出現前，開疆拓土的使命！！

更是CANON 在單眼錄影初試啼聲的經典代表作！！！

然後，2008/12月上市的5d mk2，確實，有點年紀了！！

隨著之後的7Ｄ，有著正確的1920*1080/30FPS、1280*720/60FPS等適合獨立製片的規格

最近更有550D，素有小7D（BABY 7D）之稱，挾著跟7D幾近相同的錄影畫質。

使的5D2，縱有全片幅加持，卻也搖搖欲墜！！

但在各方努力下，CANON終於聽到了用戶們的聲音。

於今年三月初，放出了確實會更新並加強錄影方面的規格。

於今天，2010年3月16號 9：00整。

終於，正式開放2.0.3FIRMWARE下載！！！！

除了有正確的30FPS（29.97）之外，更是有所有單眼都沒有的『手動音量控制』（NON-AGC）！！

 

手動音量控制有多重要，重要到可以左右製片的難度，從爆難到很簡單！！

將自動音量增益關閉，就代表若是有很好得聲音裝置，就可以直入整個H.264的檔案，

無須再合併、轉檔！！

這次的韌體又將錄音規格從44.1KHZ提升到48KHZ！！！

標準CD音質，也是電台、影片製作標準規格！！

48KHZ好不好？？當然好！！

CD音質目前還是首屈一指的！藍光、DVD都是畫質的提昇，而非音質的提昇！！

以單眼相機來看5D2，真的！超強！！

5D2這個韌體一出，瞬間將整個錄影規格提升到最強！

微速錄影會用到的機率真的太低了！真的需要？？OK～550D絕對符合需求～

 

OK！

先介紹一下韌體更新過程。

有幾點要先聲明

1.更新韌體的過程有點長，千萬不要去碰觸相機的任何一個按鈕。官網一再強調，小弟我不敢試會怎樣！

2.這次韌體的更新無法回復。會影響的人請考慮清楚。

3.我只分享喔，各位風險自負！！雖然風險很低，但是還是要確實遵照更新程序，確保問題無虞！

 

1.先將檔案下載，解壓縮到CF卡裡面的根目錄（不要在任何資料夾底下，個人建議事先格式化）

2.放入記憶卡並將選單選至韌體版本。

3.

出現這個畫面

請選擇確定。

4.

接著畫面會瞬間全黑一下，然後出現這個英文介面。

新韌體載入（LOADING）。

5.

緊接是這個畫面。剛剛下載來的韌體檔案名稱出現。

接著按『SET』確定。

會出現這個選擇畫面。

一樣，選擇OK！

7.

接著就開始UPDATING了！切記，不要關閉電源或是碰觸任何按鈕！

真的有點久，過程大約一分半到兩分鐘之間。要有點耐心！

ok！更新完畢！！按完ok之後會跳回主選單。設定並沒有遺失，我回到主選單仍然是繁中畫面。

爽！千呼萬喚的30fps 以及 24fps，可惜沒有1280*720！！

10.

全新選項：特別獨立出來的『錄音』

官方有放出幾個注意事項。

1.Version1.2.4----->2.3.0

Firmware Version 1.2.4 includes the following improvements and fixes:

1. Supports the WFT-E4 II wireless file transmitter that was released in December 2009.

   After the firmware is updated, if the WFT-E4 or WFT-E4 II wireless file transmitter is used with the camera, the indications that appear under [Communication mode] on the [WFT settings] menu are changed as follows:

   • FTP -> FTP trans
   • PTP(PC) -> EOSUtility
   • HTTP -> WFTserver
   • HTTP account -> WFT account

Corrects a phenomenon in which visible noise may appear in images taken by continuous Bulb shooting.

This firmware update corrects a phenomenon that if the [C.Fn II-1 Long exposure noise reduction] setting is set to [2: On], noise may appear in images that are captured while the previous image is still being generated.

2.Version 1.1.0---->2.3.0

Firmware Version 1.1.0 includes the following improvements and fixes:

1. Includes a function to enable the manual exposure setting when shooting movies.

   *When shooting movies in manual (M) mode, the shutter speed *1, the lens aperture value *2, and the ISO speed *3 can be freely set to allow a greater flexibility.

   Notes:
   *1 Shutter speed range: 1/30 sec. to 1/4000 sec.
   *2 Lens aperture range: maximum to minimum aperture value of the lens used
   *3 ISO speed range:
        Auto: ISO 100 to 6400 set automatically
        Manual: ISO 100 to 6400, H1

Disables the function of the depth-of-field preview button when images are played back or when the menu screen is displayed on the LCD panel.

*There are indications that images being reviewed or the menu screen may suddenly disappear from the LCD panel. As this phenomenon may be caused by accidentally pressing the depth-of-field preview button, this firmware update disables the function of the depth of field preview to address this issue.

Fixes a phenomenon where the peripheral illumination of images cannot be properly corrected, even if the images were captured with the lens Peripheral Illumination Correction function set to Enable.

*Firmware Version 1.1.0 fixes a phenomenon where peripheral illumination may not be properly corrected due the type of lens used and shooting conditions.

Fixes the algorithms of the Auto Lighting Optimizer function when Custom Function C.Fn II-3 Highlight tone priority is enabled.

 

Fixes incorrect indications on the Arabic, Romanian, Spanish, and Ukrainian menu screens.

 

Changes the battery information displayed on the camera when using the optional Battery Grip BG-E6.

*If only one LP-E6 battery pack is installed in the Battery Grip BG-E6, the battery information for the empty battery slot shows the error message, Cannot communicate with battery. However, with this firmware update, this error message no longer appears, even if only one LP-E6 battery pack is installed.

 

 

UPDATE:

測試了手動音量增益。

音質確實比之前的好上許多！

看樣子44.1khz---48khz並未使用SRC(sample rate converter)！！

5D2 錄影收音最佳夥伴 ZOOM H4N。

錄音改為自動偵測。3.5MM接口沒有連接時，他會自動使用機身麥克風。

若是有連接時，會自動切換至3.5MM INPUT。MAGIC LANTERN是可以手動切換！

第一次測試手動音量增益，將輸入訊號置於中央。約32級。

ZOOM H4N也是設定REC LEVEL為50％。

但很明顯的，這樣的設定，5D2輸入會破表！！

基本上，這樣的收音會經過兩個『音量選擇』。

一般來說，建議是越靠近音源的那個開關要開到最大（這裡的情況是5d2的 input），

純粹由靠近來源的那個來控制大小（這裡是指H4N），

但很明顯的，此版韌體不適用！！

可是用於MAGIC LANTERN FIRMWARE是相當適合的！！

兩個音量調到一致是一開始的步驟！！

很明顯的，5d2的手動音量增益，從LEVEL0到LEVEL1 是差很多的！！

因此甚至只要開到LEVEL3 ，H4N的音量我是調到35％，這樣才會一致！！

或許會有誤差，大家都可以試試看！！
